Senior Training & Enablement Manager
Our client is seeking a self-directed, highly motivated and accomplished individual to join them as a Senior Sales Training Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Director,  the responsibilities include development and implementation of the sales and service training programs, while leading a team of trainers to execute best in class training curriculum.
  • Design and implement sales strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and business goals.
  • Conduct training needs assessment by collaborating with executive leadership and key department heads to identify gaps in knowledge and skill, using this analysis to create targeted training programs.
  • Define KPIs for sales enablement initiatives and establish processes for tracking, measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of the training program.
  • Comfortable in a Player-Coach role, simultaneously delivering training & executing against KPIs while leading a team of trainers who will be primarily responsible for executing trainings for the field organization.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to the sales enablement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning and accountability.
  • Work with various levels of leadership to identify key areas for improvement within the field personnel as well as the training and enablement program.
  • In combination with your direct reports, conduct engaging and interactive in-person training classes for all newly hired sales employees at our Corporate Office in Blue Springs multiple times each year (will vary based on number of employees hired).
  • Develop training material such as presentations, manuals, videos, online training (virtual and video) and e-learning modules ensuring that all materials are up-to-date, informative and engaging.
  • Develop and conduct ongoing training and professional development for all employees.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the training program through best practice evaluation, surveys, and team feedback and work to continuously improve content based on the responses.
  • Learn and understand the company’s products to provide comprehensive training on their features, benefits, applications and competitive advantages, ensuring the salesforce has an in-depth knowledge to effectively sell.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and advancements in the chemical manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure that through all training efforts, company core values and culture remain at the forefront of everything we do.
  • Travel responsibilities will be required as needed up to 20% of the time and will include in field training.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, safety protocols, inventory control.
  • Strong familiarity with sales techniques.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to train others on installation and service of chemical dispensing equipment.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and multi-media tools.
  • Experience with using NetSuite ERP and CRM.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience developing and implementing sales enablement strategy and programs as well as leading training and enablement professionals.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in corporate training, preferably in chemical manufacturing or related industry
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate learners.
  • Proficient in instructional design, adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, department leaders and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure training program aligns with company goals and Core Values.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Travel & Physical Requirements
  • Up to 20% travel through United States and Canada required
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, and maintain current passport
  • Desk and computer work required
  • Lifting required up to 50 lbs
