DESCRIPTION:
Outstanding opportunity for a talented senior auditor located in overland park!
Accurately manage and optimize auditing activities. Ensuring companies financial operations and controls are accurate and fully compatible with standards and regulations. A thorough analyst with a critical approach and good knowledge of auditing processes.
- Review and verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure that companies comply with the tax laws.
- Financial Review and Analysis for quarterly and annual reports
- Reconciliations
- Preparing reports to auditing manager
- Ensuring the timely completion of audits
- Analyze risk and develop measures to reduce them.
- Interfacing with clients, relationship building.
- 5+ years of experience in auditing and accounting
- Specifically, 3-5 years' experience working in a CPA firm
- Bachelor’s degree required in a related field, or equivalent experience in accounting / finance.
- Ability to “own” projects from start to finish and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with clients.
- Profound knowledge of auditing and control requirements and practices is a must!!
- Attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Quick Books, especially Excel
- Self-starter with solid problem-solving, analytical and mathematical skills
- CPA is highly recommended.
- Prior experience in a CPA firm required
- Strong auditing skills
- Good personality, professionalism and communications skills since working with clients.
