DESCRIPTION:
Legal Assistant/Transactional Law
HYBRID: 3 IN/2 REMOTE
Plaza location.
Responsibilities:
Support the Managing Partner in a growing transaction team.
4+ years of experience
- Generate and finalize correspondence, and legal documents to include memoranda, contracts, leases, and agreements.
- Prepare and edit corporate documents to include corporate board minutes, real estate closings, banking documentation and contracts, along with document editing and redlining.
- Problem solve, think independently, and undertake projects with minimum supervision in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with attorney/paralegal team in producing high quality work.
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with both internal and external clients on all levels.
- Managing calendar and docket.
- Working in a team environment.
- Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements.
- Other duties in compliance with Standards of Quality for Legal Assistant.
Skills:
- Ability to problem-solve, think independently and undertake projects with minimum supervision in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to proofread material for contextual, grammatical, typographic, or spelling errors.
- Ability to transcribe legal documents, correspondence and reports at a level of minimum of 70 wpm.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Suite Products including redline/compare software programs in a positive, teamwork environment to service our clients.
- 2 Year Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies preferred or related business degree.
