DESCRIPTION:
HR Director – This is an “In-office” only position
Human Resource Director with experience in planning, leading, directing, developing and coordinating the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.
Responsibilities:
Lead HR Team: The team is small now, but the organization is rapidly growing, so leading a team of HR professionals will be imperative, as well as collaborating with other teams within the organization. This is a “hands on” kind of leadership and willing to be down in the trenches with everyone else, doing HR duties, as needed, and building the skills and expertise of those on the team.
HR Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies in alignment with our organizational objectives.
HR Operations: Oversee day-today HR operations, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring the selection of top-tier candidates through effective sourcing, interviewing and onboarding procedures.
Employee Engagement: Promote a positive work environment, enhance employee engagement, and address workplace issues to maintain a healthy and motivated workforce.
Policy and Compliance: Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Benefits and Compensation: Collaborate with external partners for benefits administration and manage the company’s compensation structure.
HR Systems: Utilize HRIS and other tools to streamline HR processes and data management.
Talent Development: Implement and oversee training and development programs to support career growth and skills enhancement.
Strategic Planning: Provide strategic guidance and insights to the executive team on HR matters, contributing to organizational growth and success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as an HR Director or in a senior HR leadership role.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and regulations.
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex HR challenges.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
