Responsibilities:

• Preparation of all levels of estimates and proposals relating to their electrical projects.
• Prepare and present lump sum bids, proposals, unit cost and quantities for various projects with a diverse portfolio of project types and clients.
• Assemble material and labor costs for clients and proposals for construction projects.
• Conduct subcontractor solicitation and pre-qualification tasks.
• Analyze and insert specialty and standard equipment and material pricing into the estimate.
• Confirm our estimate meets the schedule protocol and specifications of scope.
• Evaluate and condition subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Research cost history and update data base(s).
• Provide preliminary pricing for indirect and general conditions.
• Reviewing specialty and standard equipment pricing.
• Review plans and specifications for completion of estimates.
• Review commercial terms and conditions for cost and risk items and present concerns to lead estimator.
• Analyze and price value engineering for submission.

Skills required:

• 6 years of experience as an estimator in electrical construction or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or an equivalent degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (required) and Trimble Accubid v16 (preferred).
• Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent research, proposal writing, and oral presentation skills.
